Terms & Conditions
The terms below govern every quote, booking and journey arranged through Wahyd Travel — Umrah and Hajj, flights, hotels, car hire, and tours across Pakistan and abroad. Please read them before you book.
The short version
Wahyd Travel arranges Umrah, Hajj, flights, hotels, car hire and tours on your behalf, working with airlines, hotels and licensed operators. Quotes are subject to availability until confirmed and paid, changes and cancellations follow supplier policies plus our own fees, and you're responsible for holding a valid passport, visa and travel documents. This summary is for convenience only — the full terms below are what apply to your booking.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you ("traveler", "you") and Wahyd Travel, a travel service of Wahyd Group ("Wahyd Travel", "we", "us", "our"). They apply whenever you request a quote, make a booking, or otherwise use our website, WhatsApp line, or offices in connection with any travel service we arrange.
By requesting a quote, confirming a booking, making a payment, or otherwise instructing us to proceed with any part of your travel arrangements, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, on behalf of yourself and everyone named on the booking.
2. About Wahyd Travel
Wahyd Travel is the travel arm of Wahyd Group, arranging Umrah and Hajj journeys, flight and hotel bookings, car and chauffeur hire, and international and local tours for travelers based in Pakistan and abroad.
For most services, Wahyd Travel acts as a booking agent and travel arranger, coordinating with airlines, hotels, licensed Hajj and Umrah operators, ground transport providers and tour partners on your behalf. Where a service is provided directly by Wahyd Travel (such as our own chauffeur-driven car hire), that is stated at the time of booking.
3. Our services
Wahyd Travel arranges the following categories of service, each also covered by any specific terms shared with you at the time of quotation:
- Umrah and Hajj packages, including flights, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, ground transport, and group coordination.
- Domestic and international flight bookings.
- Hotel and accommodation bookings in Pakistan and abroad.
- Car hire and chauffeur-driven transport.
- International tour packages and private local tours across Pakistan.
Package inclusions, accommodation categories, itineraries and travel dates are as described in your written quotation or booking confirmation. Marketing material on our website and social channels is illustrative and may vary from the exact hotel, room category or vehicle ultimately assigned by our suppliers, provided the standard remains broadly equivalent.
4. Traveler eligibility & your responsibilities
When you book with us, you confirm that:
- All information you provide — names, dates of birth, passport and CNIC details, contact information — is accurate and matches your official travel documents exactly.
- You are at least 18 years old, or booking on behalf of a minor as their parent or legal guardian.
- You are fit to travel, and will disclose any medical condition, mobility requirement or dietary need that may affect your journey.
- You hold, or will obtain in good time, a passport valid for at least six months beyond your return date, along with any visa or permit your trip requires.
If you book on behalf of other travelers, you are responsible for ensuring they are aware of and accept these Terms, and for relaying all communications from us to them.
5. Quotations, bookings & confirmation
Quotations shared by phone, WhatsApp, email or through our website are estimates based on availability and pricing at the time they are given, and are not binding until a booking is confirmed. Airline seats, hotel rooms and vehicle availability can change or sell out before you confirm, in which case we will offer the closest available alternative.
A booking is only confirmed once we have received your required deposit or full payment (as applicable) and issued a written booking confirmation by email or WhatsApp. Please check your confirmation carefully — including names, dates and package inclusions — and tell us immediately of any discrepancy, since airlines and hotels may charge for corrections once tickets or vouchers are issued.
6. Pricing & payment
Prices are quoted in PKR or the currency stated on your quotation, and are based on exchange rates, airfares, hotel rates and taxes at the time of quotation. These can change until full payment is received, particularly for Hajj and peak-season Umrah travel where airline and hotel rates move quickly.
- A deposit may be required to hold a booking, with the balance due by the date stated on your invoice.
- Full payment is generally required before travel documents, e-tickets or visas are issued.
- We accept bank transfer, card payment and cash at our offices; we do not store full card numbers.
- Bank charges, currency conversion fees and any government levies are payable in addition to the quoted price unless stated otherwise.
7. Changes, cancellations & refunds
If you wish to change or cancel a confirmed booking, tell us in writing (email or WhatsApp) as early as possible. Changes and cancellations are subject to the policies of the relevant airline, hotel, visa authority or Hajj/Umrah operator, which are often non-refundable or carry a change fee closer to departure, in addition to a reasonable Wahyd Travel service fee for the administrative work involved.
Where we are able to recover a refund from a supplier on your behalf, we will pass it on to you less any non-recoverable supplier charges and our service fee, within a reasonable time of receiving it. Refund timelines are ultimately set by the supplier issuing the refund and not by Wahyd Travel.
If we need to change or cancel arrangements due to circumstances outlined in Section 13 (Force Majeure), we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and work with you on rebooking or a refund of amounts we are able to recover from suppliers.
8. Visas, passports & documentation
You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visa, permit or health certificate required for your trip. Where Wahyd Travel assists with visa or Umrah/Hajj permit applications as part of your package, this is a facilitation service — final approval always rests with the relevant embassy, consulate, or the Saudi authorities (including the Nusuk platform and Ministry of Hajj and Umrah).
We are not responsible for a visa or permit being refused, delayed, or issued with conditions, provided we submitted your application in good faith based on the documents and information you supplied. Any cost arising from incomplete, inaccurate or late documents you provide is your responsibility.
9. Umrah & Hajj specific terms
Umrah and Hajj travel is additionally governed by the regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan's Ministry of Religious Affairs, which can change with limited notice and may affect quota allocation, accommodation zones, group sizes or movement between Makkah, Madinah and the Hajj sites.
- Accommodation, transport and meal inclusions match the package category you booked (economy, standard, or premium), as confirmed in writing.
- Group departure dates, ziyarat schedules and internal transport timings may be adjusted by us or by Haramain authorities for safety, crowd management or logistical reasons.
- Compliance with Ihram, health screening and other pilgrimage requirements set by Saudi authorities is the traveler's responsibility.
10. Health, safety & travel insurance
We strongly recommend — and for Hajj and Umrah packages may require — that you take out travel and health insurance covering medical treatment, trip cancellation and repatriation before departure. Saudi authorities may also require specific vaccinations or health certificates for Hajj and Umrah travelers from time to time; keeping up to date with these requirements is your responsibility.
Wahyd Travel is not a medical provider and is not liable for the cost of medical treatment, evacuation or complications arising during your trip, beyond reasonable assistance in liaising with local providers and your insurer.
11. Third-party suppliers
Airlines, hotels, ground transport operators, licensed Hajj/Umrah operators and tour partners we book on your behalf are independent businesses governed by their own terms, fare rules and conditions, which may be more restrictive than ours (for example on baggage, rescheduling or no-show policies). We select suppliers we consider reputable, but we do not operate their services and are not liable for delays, overbooking, service quality, strikes or other matters within their control rather than ours.
12. Website use & intellectual property
The text, photography, layout and design of the Wahyd Travel website belong to Wahyd Travel and Wahyd Group or their licensors, and may not be copied, scraped or reused commercially without our written permission. You may browse and use the website for your own personal travel planning.
Our website may link to third-party sites (such as airline or hotel booking engines, or payment providers) for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites.
13. Limitation of liability & force majeure
To the extent permitted by law, Wahyd Travel's liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as missed connections, lost earnings, or loss of enjoyment, except where caused by our own negligence.
We are not liable for delay, change or cancellation caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemic-related restrictions, strikes, civil unrest, government or Haramain authority decisions, or airline and airport disruptions ("force majeure"). Where such events affect a booking, we will assist you in seeking any remedy available from the relevant supplier.
14. Complaints & governing law
If something goes wrong, please raise it with us as soon as possible — ideally while still traveling, so we can try to resolve it in real time, and in writing afterward if it remains unresolved. We aim to acknowledge complaints within a few working days and work with you and the relevant supplier toward a fair outcome.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, supplier policies or the law. The version in effect on the date you confirm a booking is the one that applies to that booking. We will post the current version on this page along with its effective date.
